Foxtails can be quite dangerous. Apparently, due to the California drought, they have become a concern early and the number of injuries has increased in the region.
Totally believe it. I saw a foxtail WEEKS ago on Mort and it's not even "season". Could have been left over from last year, but I've never seen one in February before!

ReplyDeleteApparently because everything is so dry, so are the foxtails. Must suck, having to be so careful.
