Adoption Monday: Tori, Rottweiler, Bowmanville, ON

Tori is an extremely smart girl. She picks up on new commands very quickly, she is very motivated with treats and she is learning to walk well on the Gentle Leader.

Tori has been selective with which dogs she likes, she is very high energy and playful so one with the same personality would be best suited for her. It is not known if she has ever been with cats but they probably wouldn’t be a good match for her, at this time.

Tori would do best placed in a home with no children. She has met a couple that she was well behaved it seems she isn't used to them and can get upset.

Tori does guard high-value items, such as toys and a delicious treat. She will play fetch and give up the toy for a reward. If playing with another dog, it would be best to keep toys out of the equation.

Tori loves spending time outside playing. She is eager to please, she just needs someone to spend some more time with her.

Tori is 10 months old, spayed and vaccinated. She is clean in her kennel and sleeps in her crate at night.

Tori is looking for a foster.

ANML-RESQ is a dedicated group of volunteers looking out for the 4-legged creatures we share this world with. Their goal is to save a dog or cat from being euthanized in a shelter, through no fault of their own - just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they don't have a foster home available they will work with other reputable organizations to find a place.

ANML-RESQ relies solely on donations and fundraisers to spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip their pets prior to adoption.  They don't even use funds for gas to transport the pets in their program to their new homes!
