Adoption Monday: Quincy, Rottweiler, Bowmanville, ON

Quincy is a stunning 3-year-old Rottweiler who has found himself at a shelter through no fault of his own. The poor baby arrived emaciated and had a large cut on his back. It appears it may have happened as he was trying to get under a barbed-wire fence.

Quincy is extremely loving and affectionate. He is so goofy and fun to be with. He pushes his body against you and wants snuggles and pets. He truly is a joy to handle. Our dog walkers love him.

Quincy is easy to fall in love with.

He can be selective with dogs so a meeting would need to be arranged. He would probably do well with a laid back large breed female.

Quincy urgently needs a foster or adoptive home with a fenced in backyard and large breed experience. Due to Quincy’s size no children under the age of 14. Cats are unknown.

Do you think you can help us to help Quincy by offering him a foster or foster to adopt home?

ANML-RESQ is a dedicated group of volunteers looking out for the 4-legged creatures we share this world with. Their goal is to save a dog or cat from being euthanized in a shelter, through no fault of their own - just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they don't have a foster home available they will work with other reputable organizations to find a place.

ANML-RESQ relies solely on donations and fundraisers to spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip their pets prior to adoption.  They don't even use funds for gas to transport the pets in their program to their new homes!
