I agree that not all things natural are always good, but the course is certainly raising some interesting questions; whether it's regarding the "wholeness" or the proper structure. This I found particularly interesting as I was doing some further learning on that subject.DawgBloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03549947489170037163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3030368038490158017.post-2945204629401874222012-01-09T07:46:29.077-05:002012-01-09T07:46:29.077-05:00I think the article raised some good points. To me, natural is what you can pick off a tree, dig up from the ground, hunt down, etc. So no changing. I don't think natural is always best but I think natural things should be valued and used where possible.Christopher Durin, DVMhttp://www.dogarthritisblog.info/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3030368038490158017.post-67074574033045959032012-01-08T14:09:31.296-05:002012-01-08T14:09:31.296-05:00Good rule of thumb! :-)Good rule of thumb! :-)DawgBloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03549947489170037163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3030368038490158017.post-19273642478299955342012-01-08T08:30:59.809-05:002012-01-08T08:30:59.809-05:00Great post. To me, natural is too vague of a term to be much use in evaluating the quality or benefits of a pet food. It's really just a buzz word.Kolchak Pugglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03246753495695769393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3030368038490158017.post-43446219502310770282012-01-05T14:40:41.862-05:002012-01-05T14:40:41.862-05:00Hi Jen, yes, you're right. Consumers often believe that 'Natural' = 'Pure' & 'Safe' but that's clearly not the case. Consumer education is necessary to make sure an informed decision is being made based on a number of factors, not just on whether or not something is labeled Jen Febel/Avivagenhttp://www.avivagen.comnoreply@blogger.com
