Adoption Monday: Bear, Rottweiler, Toronto, ON

Bear is a very handsome boy with a fair amount of energy to work off. He does require some leash training as he uses his 105lbs of weight to pull you around.

Bear has been getting familiar with walking with a muzzle as he sometimes is dog reactive. In a previous home he has spent some time with another large female dog that he got along with.

Bear has been around men, women and children however he seemed reactive to children under 15 years of age so we are looking for a home without children under the age of 15.

He does love to roll over and get his belly rubs before he goes out for a walks.

Bear needs an experienced foster/ adopter with patience to continue to work with his food and toy guarding. Needless to say despite his issues Bear is as still a sweet boy.

ANML-RESQ is a dedicated group of volunteers looking out for the 4-legged creatures we share this world with. Their goal is to save a dog or cat from being euthanized in a shelter, through no fault of their own - just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they don't have a foster home available they will work with other reputable organizations to find a place.

ANML-RESQ relies solely on donations and fundraisers to spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip their pets prior to adoption.  They don't even use funds for gas to transport the pets in their program to their new homes!
