Adoption Monday: Coco, Rottweiler Mix, Southington, CT

Coco was brought to the shelter by my original owner because they said they "couldn't afford" her and her sister...

Coco loves her foster family! Coco loves learning, mainly because learning involves extra treats, and treats are pretty awesome!

Coco has already learned how to sit (which she likes to show everyone how good she is at that one because its super easy now). She also learned how to lay down and how to wait politely in her crate.
Thus far she hasn't had any accidents inside but if you adopt her, please give her a little extra time to acclimate... there will be a lot of new stuff going on, and her foster mom said sometimes adopted dogs may have an accident inside at first.

Coco's foster family is teaching her to walk on a leash politely. She's doing much better with her leash training, she just get super excited about walks at first and have to remember her manners.

Coco is heartworm negative. She has already been spayed which is why she has a fancy green tattoo on her tummy.

Coco absolutely loves people and does great with other dogs. Although she doesn't live with cats right now, the couple of times she's met them she's been a little scared of them... they are scary creatures those cats.

Coco likes kids a lot too, but because she's still learning why it's important to not jump on people her foster family said she may do better with slighter older kids (in case she got super excited and jump up for attention).
