The Whistle Activity Monitor has been around for a while.
There is a new product out now, which monitors not only that, but also various vitals, such as temperature, pulse, respiration and more.
PetPace allows real-time access to vital information as well as it sends alerts about potential problems. It sounds like a true revolution in detecting health issues but also a great tool for watching dogs with existing health problems.
Needless to say I want one.
But I might wait to see how well it does with real-life use. And whether there is such a thing as too much information.
Either way, I think it's very cool and a step towards the future of taking care of our dogs.
