Adoption Monday: Ashby, Black Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier Mix: Manhattan Beach, CA

Ashby was at the shelter after being turned in as a stray at just 8 weeks of age.

Ashby had suffered a head contusion and her eyes were swollen...we don't know if she was kicked in the head or possibly attacked by another dog.

Fortunately, Ashby got out before they euthanized this "unadoptable" puppy!

Jer neurological tests have all come back normal, and she likely has a sinus cavity fracture, with an infection, that is responding very well to antibiotics.

Ashby is otherwise a happy, playful, rambunctious puppy who holds no grudges against anyone and just wants to be loved and cuddled!

Don't let her someone mis-shaped face fool you...this girl is a beauty!

Noah's Bark is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit pet rescue organization based in the Los Angeles South Bay area. They are an all breed rescue. Some dogs come to in as strays, but the majorities come from LA area shelters, all of which are ALL HIGH KILL shelters.

Noah's Bark often rescues the most broken and pitiful dogs from these shelters, the ones that would have little to no chance of being adopted by the public. Noah's Bark gives these dogs a second chance at a new and loving life.
