Stem Cell Regenerative Therapy for Dogs: Even Greater News!

Vet-Stem has been awarded a naval research contract for the U.S. Navy! Congratulations Vet-Stem!

That is not only great news for Vet-Stem, but I believe it is a great news for our dogs also. U.S. Navy funding means more research, which can bring more breakthroughs in stem cell regenerative therapy for dogs.

Stem cell therapy is already being used to successfully treat arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries in dogs and horses. Studies are also being done in stem cell therapy application for treatment of autoimmune diseases.

  2. Dear Cathy. Thank you for reading and commenting! We are very excited to be part of this.

Vet-Stem technology is using adult stem cells extracted from the patient's own fat cells. Adult stem cells are the body's master healing cells. Their purpose is healing and tissue regeneration.
